Kings Orchard Marina Caravan Pitches

Kings Orchard Marina, located in the middle of the Staffordshire countryside yet close to historic Lichfield, boasts a Caravan Club CL site in its own sheltered spot right by the Coventry Canal and overlooking the marina basin. The five widely spaced pitches have hook ups for water and electricity and are just a few steps away from the facilities building equipped with several state of the art toilets and showers and a food preparation area. Waste disposal and an Elsan unit are nearby. There is an on site Caretaker to help and advise our visitors.

The larger of the two facilities buildings houses the marina office and shop which sells maps, books, magazines, Calor gas, barbecue fuel, etc, as well as providing a coin operated washing machine and dryer.

The secluded, peaceful 20 acre site is dotted with picnic tables, free to use barbecues and is landscaped and maintained to the highest standards. Sheltered on three sides by mature trees and hedgerow, it is the perfect spot to relax and use as a base from which to visit many nearby attractions including, Drayton Manor theme park, the National Memorial Arboretum, Foxfield Steam Railway and the delights of the small medieval city of Lichfield with its 800 year old Cathedral and 230 listed buildings.

A stroll along the adjacent towpath leads to the Plough, a pleasant pub in Huddlesford, close to Plough Bridge (Bridge 83).

Private Caravan Site

There is a private all weather ten pitch caravan site with electric hook up at the marina in a separate location from the CL and utilising different shower and toilet facilities. This year round site is open to Caravan Club members and friends of Kings Orchard Marina
